I loved the Lubaina Hamid exhibition at Tate Modern, it was as varied as it was colourful and interesting.
Not a huge exhibition compared to some others I’ve seen recently but there was definitely lots to take in and digest, and spanning many years of her career. Including some early works I was previously unaware of. I was particularly taken with her large figurative canvasses showing various scenes with collections of people and items which seemed to speak in a code of underlying insights.
Would highly recommend catching it before it ends!
